Manifold Pt. 2

The mechanic succeeded in removing the manifold without breaking any important bolts but the bad news is that it is cracked! A replacement is not available in Mexico and none is available in Edmonton for my brother to bring down when he arrives later today. Tough break! My only option seems to be to get it welded (brazed), a repair that is not the best solution on an exhaust manifold because of the continuous heating / cooling cycles. We will just have to hope for the best!
